The Story

I didn't fall into hair.
I chose it. Repeatedly.

It started the way most great love stories do... quietly, in high school, experimenting with colors and updos on anyone who would sit still long enough. I didn't know then that I was building a career. I just knew I loved it.

Nearly two decades later I'm still choosing it every single day. I've worked in salons, built my own, traveled to mountain summits and coastal elopements, and co-founded one of the most intentional beauty collectives in the Pacific Northwest. Every chapter has taught me something that shows up in my work.

What I know for certain after all of it... the best hair isn't just about technique. It's about trust. When you sit in my chair on your wedding morning, the last thing you should be thinking about is your hair. That's my job. And I take it seriously.

The Pivot

I built something.
Then I built better.

In 2019 I opened my own salon. I ran it for six years... and I'm proud of every single one of them. Building something from the ground up teaches you things no classroom ever could. About business, about people, about what you're actually made of.

But in 2025 I made the intentional decision to sell it and go all in on the work that lights me up most. Bridal hair. Destination elopements. Content creation. Brand partnerships. The kind of work where I show up completely on purpose... not out of obligation.

That decision wasn't a pivot away from something. It was a pivot toward everything I'd been building toward all along.

What I believe
about great hair.

These aren't just talking points. They're the things that actually guide how I work, who I take on, and what your experience with me looks and feels like.

01
Trust is everything

You should never have to wonder if your hair is going to hold up. My job is to remove that worry completely... before your wedding morning even starts.

02
Details are the whole point

The difference between good hair and unforgettable hair lives in the details. The texture, the placement, the way it moves. I notice all of it.

03
Your vision leads

I bring nearly 20 years of expertise to the chair. But it's your wedding, your face, your story. I'm here to bring your vision to life... not mine.

04
Hair should photograph

I think in terms of how your hair will look in photos and film... because those are the images you'll have forever. Technique matters. So does perspective.

05
The experience matters too

Getting ready on your wedding morning should feel calm, joyful, and completely taken care of. The energy in the room is part of what I bring to every single booking.

06
Intentional work only

I don't take on bookings I can't give my full attention to. Every time you sit in my chair you get the best version of what I do... no exceptions.

The Team Behind the Work

K&Hart Beauty
Collective.

In 2020 my best friend Azalee and I co-founded K&Hart Beauty Collective... and what started as a partnership between two people who trusted each other completely has grown into a full team of artists who share the same standard.

Every artist on our team shows up on your wedding day with the same care and precision I bring. Together we've built something I'm genuinely proud of... a team where every booking gets treated like the most important one we've ever done.

When you book through K&Hart, you're not just getting me. You're getting a coordinated team, a proven process, and years of collective experience working seamlessly together on your wedding day.

I go where
you go.

Destination work is one of my favorite parts of this job. There's something about showing up somewhere that took your breath away and making sure your hair matches the moment. I travel several times a year for weddings and elopements across the Pacific Northwest and beyond... mountain summits, coastal venues, cabins, international destinations, and everywhere in between.

If you're planning something adventurous and you want beauty that can keep up... I'm your person.
